Close-up photography can be done with a variety of digital cameras and opens up a wide variety of possibilities for stunning images. This class explores maximizing point and shoot and digital SLR cameras for the best close-up photos. We'll cover key topics common to most cameras including macro mode, using natural light and flash, as well as getting better focus. Get excellent tips on composition with plenty of examples to see. Digital SLR users will benefit from topics specific to these more advanced cameras such as lens/flash use, other accessories, and techniques that help get in closer. While the overall focus is on nature subjects, many of the concepts are useful for other types of close-up photography.
